Our Ministries

All ministries at Battle Creek Baptist Temple have one purpose in mind, to bring people to Jesus Christ!  First: Bring them to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Second: Follow the Lord in Believers Baptism.  Third; Teach them the Word of God and help them grow in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Missions

We support about 18 Missionaries in many different countries.  We pray for hundreds of missionaries throughout the year. This is a picture of the Carter Family they have been in Japan now for many years.  Brother Steve Carter and his family have been sharing the gospel of Jesus in Japan. They were back in the states this year and came by to give us an update on their work in Japan.  We have missionaries throughout the year at our church sharing their burdens for the place God has called them!

Bus Ministry

We run buses to pick up people who would not able come to church!  We have many people who come on our buses from all walks of life.  Jesus said in “ Luke 14:23 “ And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” We have reached many children, teens and adults, they have come to know Jesus Christ! Because of running buses!

Camp

Every summer for the last 22 years we have taken kids to camp.  Jr. Camps is for ages 8-12. They go from Monday – Thursday.  Cost is about $125.00. Teen Camp is for ages 13-18. They go from Monday -Friday.  Cost is about $150.00. At camp we get them with other Christian kids for the week. No cell phones, tablets, computers they are away form regular life, so they can get to know their creator! Camp has all sorts of fun things for them also.

Vacation Bible School

Our vacation bible school is quite unique. We have characters who teach the Bible to the children in the opening service.  We teach Great Bible Stories and apply them to everyday life.  We have a craft time and a snack time for them each day. Our vacation bible school is usually at night from 6 pm to 8pm (Monday – Thursday).   It is a great time for the children.

Soulwinning

We go out every Saturday, to be a witness for Jesus Christ.  We go in groups of two and share the gospel with whomever will listen.  God has greatly blessed this ministry!  It has helped our people grow spiritually.
